Our Off the Cuff platform uncovers emerging talent in the music industry through a series of short interviews with our KOMI users. This provides our broader community with the opportunity to discover our favorite artists and hear about their latest projects before the rest of the world.

In a recent interview, we had the pleasure of chatting with the talented Ella Grace to learn more about what she has in store for her fans. London-born Ella Grace effortlessly blends rock 'n' roll and folk music. Her musical journey began with a series of singles, culminating in 'Wild Roads,' which garnered over 3.5 million streams and featured in multiple TV syncs.

In 2021, Ella took the leap and self-released her 11-track debut album, 'Reverence,' which has since amassed over 10 million streams. Her subsequent tracks were recorded at Rockfield Studio with BRIT award-winning producer Ethan Johns.

What are you up to at the moment?

I'm in the middle of releasing an EP at the moment, I've just released a song called Burn.

It's probably one of my favorites up there and I've also just released my song, The Edge, which is a really meaningful song to me.

Can you tell us about your new single

The edge is appropriately kind of an autumnal winter sad song that's also got a lot of hope in it. It's about the things that we don't always want to look at as human beings, the inevitable illness and death and all those big themes. But I hope I've created a song that makes those things accessible and a little softer and more beautiful for people.

What is your career highlight?

My career highlight was definitely being in the studio with an amazing producer who I've always admired called Ethan Johns. I got to make my tracks: Grace and my next track coming out: war of alchemy with him and was definitely the highlight of my career.

What are you looking forward to next?

I'm looking forward to my next release, War of Alchemy. The one I wrote with Ethan Johns.

It's so sexy and intense and I'm also looking forward to another headline show on the second of December in West London at Lalo.
